I know, bloggers should be consistent.
I have the same excuse: Law school kills.
I’m literally sitting in class right now. I should be briefing a case, but I decided it was more important to address my readers.
This semester (yes, I’m taking 15 units this summer instead of sitting by a pool and take perspective selfies of my well-toned legs) I’m working on my law article. It is fashion related. It takes up a lot of my brain function. I’m struggling to form sentences right now if you cannot tell.
Finals are RAPIDLY approaching. I have 3 weeks left of lecture, and 1 reading week (study week). So I’m freaking out, stressed, not coordinating clothes very well, my eyebrows are baby caterpillars, etc.
Please, Please, Please Forgive Me!
Burnt out, but still truckin’ through
There are nights where I am up late and can’t possibly do anymore studying. This is how I end up doing some damage by online shopping.
Here are my latest Lyst picks for necklaces.
Ombre Bouquet Statement Necklace
Goddess Statement Necklace
Night Fox Jewelry
Luna Vermeil Small Statement Collar
I am so intrigued with old Hollywood glamour (it is my favorite modern era style of dress) that I literally squealed at the sight of each look. The sophistication and femininity of this collection. I loved nearly every look!
While Mr. Valli said the inspiration encompassed sentiments of the late 60s, early 70s, it it said that his mood board contain vintage photos of Diana Vreeland during the 30s and 40s.Yes, I feel it!
He definitely hit the hammer on the head.
Here, Donatella channeled the 1950’s but still maintained the signature Versace look: SKIN.

I’m sure you know by now that Olivia Palermo has gotten married. She went for a rather casual, yet chic look for her nuptials (she wore Carolina Herrera). I notice that many of the fashion girls opted for understated weddings. This initially surprised me, but when you have a person that wears beautiful things daily, going all out for a wedding isn’t really on the agenda.

I took this as an opportunity to share some pins from my Pinterest board entitle Maybe. I gave it that title because maybe I’ll get married one day. For now, here are a few wedding dresses that fit my current aesthetic.
I like drop-waist gowns for two reasons: 1) With my 5’2″, 110lb frame, I won’t get totally lost in a sea of fabric, and 2) I can achieve a slender, elegant look while maintaining a “princess moment”.
I’m also certain that unless I pull an Olivia, I’m going to wear a Mantilla or alter veil (I know, I’m such a catholic girl).
Victoria has come a long way from her Spice Girl days. Her sense of fashion is what made her my favorite Spice Girl back in the day. I co-signed her hideous matching outfits she wore with David. And I defended her proudly when naysayers said that she couldn’t build a real fashion empire. Look at us now, baby!
Anyways, I love to see Victoria in editorial spreads (she’s beautiful, no?) as she proves that anyone can beat the odds.
