Spring Trend: Black & White

A strong trend on the fashion radar is black & white. You may do it in stripes, polka dots, floral prints, or color blocking.

Here are some looks from the Spring ’15 RTW runways.

AW ’15 Fashion Month Round Up: Color Trends

Tracking fashion month has been an arduous, yet pleasuring task. It takes a while to digest a months’ worth of new creations from all of my favorite, as well as new designers. In the meantime, I have pulled a few color trends noted from the AW ’15 shows.

Olivier Rousteing said that this collection was more him than ever, and was inspired by seventies-era skiers and race car drivers. The sentiment totally resonated with me, as it reminds me of a vain, foreign exchange jock student. I was especially impressed by the elaborate beading and leather weaving.

Better Late Than Never: Menswear Spring ’15 Edits

Menswear_Spring-15

As you may have noticed, my posts have been rather light these past few days (okay, weeks). I mentioned in a previous post how law school has taken precedent over fashion. However, I have my edits from the latest menswear shows, and I want to go through them once again before posting.

I can tell you now the shows that resonated with me were Lanvin, Dries Van Noten, Maison Martin Margiela, Balmain, Louis Vuitton, and Saint Laurent.

Stay tune, and thanks for your patience!
