A strong trend on the fashion radar is black & white. You may do it in stripes, polka dots, floral prints, or color blocking.
Here are some looks from the Spring ’15 RTW runways.
1. Oscar de la Renta 2. Proenza Schouler 3. Cushnie et Ochs 4. Altuzarra 5. Balmain
1. Alice + Olivia 2. Marc By Marc Jacobs 3. Givenchy 4. Versace 5. Giambattista Valli
The following are a few ways to transition the trend from the runway to your wardrobe.
Olivier Rousteing said that this collection was more him than ever, and was inspired by seventies-era skiers and race car drivers. The sentiment totally resonated with me, as it reminds me of a vain, foreign exchange jock student. I was especially impressed by the elaborate beading and leather weaving.
As you may have noticed, my posts have been rather light these past few days (okay, weeks). I mentioned in a previous post how law school has taken precedent over fashion. However, I have my edits from the latest menswear shows, and I want to go through them once again before posting.
I can tell you now the shows that resonated with me were Lanvin, Dries Van Noten, Maison Martin Margiela, Balmain, Louis Vuitton, and Saint Laurent.
Stay tune, and thanks for your patience!
