Spring is here, which means we have free reign to wear pastels!
Spring is upon us, which means it’s time to come out of our winter cocoons. While neutrals and nudes have been a hot color both on and off the runway, I’ve noticed that there are those of you who aren’t entirely sure how to incorporate the color into your wardrobe without feeling washed out.
Personally, my go to neutrals are blacks and grays. However, I have made a point indulge in creams, whites, and other flesh-tone shades. Here are a few looks to kick start your fashion juices.
My previous post briefly described my obsession with silver metallic pumps. Then I though, most gals probably won’t buy metallic shoes because they seem too novel and may not know how to incorporate them into their regular wardrobe.
So here’s a few ways you can wear a pair of metallic shoes with three different looks.
I took me a minute to put these looks together because I was trying to do it from a realistic perspective (read: what most of us already have in our closets) and not a super fashion-y perspective.
For the more casual looks, you could definitely do metallic flats and have the same effect .
How do you feel about metallic shoes? Are they something you only wear when you dress up, or do you like the idea of wearing them in a more casual setting?
My new obsession is silver metallic pumps.
I believe pumps are by far the sexiest shoe a woman can own. I have been searching high and low (okay, I’m being dramatic) for a perfect pair of silver metallic pumps. Since I feel like this is a phase (metallic anything is a bit out there for me) I didn’t want to spend a ton of money straight away.
The only shoes that I have seen online and in the stores that is the perfect color and in my size were rather expensive. For instance, if I were going to splurge on a Ferragamo pump, it wouldn’t be on one in a metallic color. This just means that the search continues.
